Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrive Dushanbe. Bike fitting, briefing, documents.
- Day 2
Dushanbe to Kalai Khumb.
- Day 3
Kalai Khumb to Khorog.
- Day 4
Khorog and rest / GBAO checks.
- Day 5
Into the Wakhan Valley.
- Day 6
Wakhan forts, hot springs and villages.
- Day 7
Climb towards the plateau and Langar.
- Day 8
Murghab.
- Day 9
Karakul lake.
- Day 10
Ak-Baital pass and return south or north as scheduled.
- Day 11
Return riding day.
- Day 12
Dushanbe. Bike return and debrief.
Experience
Recent mixed-surface riding, a valid motorcycle licence, and comfort at altitude. We brief every rider in Dushanbe.
Surface
Broken asphalt, gravel, high passes, dust and occasional river crossings.
Accommodation
Simple hotels in towns and homestays in the valleys. Rooms are clean and practical, not luxury.
Support
